ÒThe Electric Record,Ó Light Silver Automatic's debut, is an explosive rock/pop gem of harmonic and radiant guitars and voices covering soundscapes from the earthbound to the celestial, all wrapped up in a warm electric blanket. The title is further reflective of the energetic and exciting forces smashed together; although rock remains the album's compass, you will enjoy the flashes of dance jams, blues, and psychedelic brush strokes that are sprinkled throughout the recording. These selections combine the melodic with the powerful while the album remains under an hour in length. It remains a small pleasure of mine to enjoy an album from start to finish in that amount of time. Push play and let it rip.

And to be released later this year . . .

ÒThe Tacoma SongsÓ is an album of acoustic songs written and recorded on my Tacoma Roadking guitar, which is the instrument with which many of these creations are fleshed out. I hoped to capture some of the warmth and intimacy that surround those writing sessions. The vibe ranges from the directness of Ô70s singer/songwriters to the debuts of Ray LaMontagne and Iron & Wine, from country-tinged clarity to headphone-craving sonic explorations. The record also welcomes the starkness of the piano, the crispness of electric keyboards, and the lushness of strings. Taken in parts or as a whole, the album is a testament to the purity of music written with one of the purest of instruments.
